My husband and I took a date night class from Shay and learned how to make coil pots. We both learned so much! I’ve taken a few different pottery classes and I’ve never learned so much in such a short time. Shay was so kind and patient with everyone and answered so many questions. She’s a fantastic teacher! The atmosphere of Clay Collective is very conducive to creativity. You’re surrounded by beautiful and inspiring pottery on all sides, the lighting is great. It feels like you’re in an art gallery…but a very cozy, laid back one. I’ll definitely go back again!

Classes at the Clay Collective are so special! Shay is a wonderful teacher and does a great job of meeting everyone where they are at and making sure they come out of class with a piece they love. I love the intimate and welcoming feel of the studio and all the beautiful pottery work by other artists to gain inspiration. Very highly recommend this as a unique and fun experience.

I purchased a private class from Clay by Shay as a birthday gift for my mom and sister. We had such a wonderful time! Shay is a great instructor - patient, thorough and supportive during the creative process. I would highly recommend her studio to anyone visiting or living in the Treasure Valley!
